EDITING CONTENT

Text Block vs. Module Block
WHAT IS A CONTENT BLOCK?

Content blocks are the basic building blocks of every page on your website. There are two types: text block and module block. It is through these blocks that you add, delete, and edit copy, images, and graphics.

Content blocks are available to edit when you are logged in to your site. They are shown on the front end of your site with a light-blue hue and are surrounded by a dashed line. Hovering over a content block shows whether it is a text block (a pencil icon is shown) or a module block (a module icon is shown; a module block can contain a module icon AND a pencil icon).

MODULE BLOCK

A module block is indicated by a module icon when hovering over a content block. Clicking the module icon takes you to the module manager, where you can add to a content block such things as: global content, blog posts, a slideshow, map locations, events, news items, featured content, and featured products.
